(Source: Beatriz E. Valenzuela Daily Press, Victorville, Calif. (MCT) –    HESPERIA • A couple was arrested Thursday morning for racking up about $ 1,500 in bills on a victim’s business credit card, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Hesperia station officials said.

B r i t t a ny S p i vey, 26, and Ronald James Lancaster, 28 — who was on post release community supervision through G ov. Je r r y B row n’s Prison Realignment Plan of Assembly Bill 109 — were arrested Thursday for commercial burglary, grand theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.

On Feb. 7, the victim reported he had lost his business credit card and it had been used throughout the Victor Valley numerous times, according to Sue Rose, spokeswoman for the Hesperia station.

Detective Mike New learned Lancaster and Spivey might have been in possession of the card and was able to obtain a search warrant for their home in the 12800 block of Ethan Street in Victorville.

New, along with members of the Hesperia SMASH Gang Team, served the warrant at the home at about 9 a.m. and arrested the couple.
